Why is it Spicy?Updated a year ago
This is a great, common and FAIR question!
Over the course of a decade of research, the team here at GameDay Ready have found many amazing plants, herbs, animal by-products, etc., that have excellent health properties.
As far as positively affecting and assisting your body's natural ability to maintain health overall, none come close to Piper nigrum L. and its active constituent, Piperine.
At the time this article was written, there are 6,888 individual mentions in scholarly articles on the US National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health, the leading research site in the United States on Piperine alone.
Piperine is so diverse that its inclusion in all of our formulations not only increases the potential deliverability and absorbability of the product, but also fortifies the intended use for that specific product. It truly is the "king" of spices.
However, with that comes one big catch... Pepper is spicy!
It's no secret, black pepper has been used for a VERY long time to spice up our food, but approaching it as a Dietary Supplement component does provide challenges when you require the good, concentrated stuff, Piperine.
Ultimately, GameDay Ready is always dedicated to providing you with the most enjoyable experience possible while on your health journey! As a result, we are also here to ensure that we support you in the best, most effective way as well.
We are constantly innovating here at GameDay Ready, and our top priority is quality. Specifically the quality of the product and the quality of life it brings you. We aim to continue to revel in the benefits of Piperine while we determine safe methods to deter its spiciness, but for now it's a small inconvenience for a large serving of YOU FEELING BETTER!
In the meantime, should you find that the spiciness is too much to bear, we highly recommend taking the serving size recommended on the label of your product and placing it into your beverage of choice for easier consumption.
As with any Dietary Supplement, it is always important to discuss with your physician about any changes to your diet prior to starting any regimen.
